Congratulation, Dennis and Bodo vom Hexenwald ISPU World Champions 2012

Congratulation to Martina Moormann and Uta von Elberfeld, who placed 4th in the ISPU Giant Schnauzer World Championship 2011,     held in Lausen Switzerland.  Uta was the highest ranking female Giant at this event, out of 72 competitors from all over the world.

Martina Moormann and her team from Germany won the team challenge with 825 points.  This number is the summary of the points the best 3 dogs on any given team have earned with 900 being the highest possible score.

The kennel von Elberfeld continous to produce some of the best working Giant Schnauzers in the world today.

We are proud to feature some of these great working lines in our own breeding program so we may make them available to you, while forgoing the high cost and risk of importing puppies from overseas.

Schnauzerfest 2011 was a great succsess.  Everyone had fun,  thanks to the help of the volunteers from Penn-Ohio Working Dog Club and the the WRSF.  Gandalf and Reya had some good results during the conformation show on Sunday.  The PSK judge was Dr. Birgit Bischoff VMD from Giesen Germany,  Gandalf earned his first show rating "Very Good" (SG)and placed 3rd in the open class.  Reya was the youngest dog at the conformation show and earned the show rating of "Very Promising" (VV) which is given to dogs under 15 month since they are not fully developed yet.  Reya placed first in her class making her the best female Giant Schnauzer puppy in the WRSF and the national champion of future breeding bitches in the US.  We are so proud of her!  Thank you Martina Moormann and the Elberfeld Rudel (Pack).
